Why is my aggregated result equal to 0?

An aggregated result of 0 (or 0%) can occur for various reasons and is often the expected correct outcome. Here are some common scenarios and troubleshooting steps if needed.

Expected Results of 0

For several metrics, an aggregated result of “0” is correct and typically expected. Examples include:

  • Tonnes of hazardous and radioactive waste: If no waste is reported by any portfolio companies, the aggregated result will be 0.
  • Tonnes of emissions to water: If no such water pollution is reported by any portfolio companies, the aggregated result will be 0.
  • Carbon footprint (EUR): If the total emissions results from portfolio companies are considerably low, the aggregated result will be 0. Please note that the aggregated result is displayed as "0.0000x" due to its expression in EUR rather than EURm.
  • Percentage of investments in organisations with sites near biodiversity-sensitive areas: If no portfolio companies have activities near biodiversity-sensitive areas, the aggregated result will be 0%.
  • Total number of incidents of discrimination: If no incidents are reported by any portfolio companies, the aggregated result will be 0.

Unexpected Results of 0

If “0” is not the expected aggregated result for a metric, please follow these steps:

  1. Verify data accuracy: Double-check that the data submitted by your portfolio companies is accurate and complete.
  2. Re-submit data: Ensure the data is correctly entered and saved, then re-submit.

If the result remains “0” after these steps, please reach out to our team for assistance by submitting a support ticket.
