When should I use the “Omit” button in a disclosure?

The "Omit" button should be used in situations where the disclosure is either not applicable or when the necessary data is unavailable. For example, if a disclosure asks for the "Distance travelled by company cars," but your company does not own or operate any vehicles, you can omit this disclosure. Similarly, if you lack the data to complete a specific disclosure, you may choose to omit it.

When you click "Omit," a dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select a reason for omitting the disclosure. Additionally, you can provide a comment to give further context or details about your choice.

⚠️ Do not omit the following disclosures:

  • Emissions: Total Scope 1 (direct entry)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 2 (location-based) (direct entry)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 2 (market-based) (direct entry)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 3 (direct entry)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 1 (by scope category)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 2 (by scope category)
  • Emissions: Total Scope 3 (by scope category)

These disclosures will be automatically calculated based on the emissions data you have provided in other emissions metrics.

If one of these three scopes is not relevant to your company, do not omit it. Instead, enter and submit a value of zero to indicate its non-materiality.
