What are the key components of the Carbon Accounting module?
New to carbon accounting on Atlas Metrics? No worries! Here’s a quick overview of the key functionalities to help you navigate your carbon accounting journey with ease:

Accessing the Carbon Accounting Module - When you log in for the first time, this is the Dashboard you will see. To access the Carbon Accounting module, simply navigate to the left-hand menu and click on “Carbon Accounting". under the Reporting tab.

Module Layout The Carbon Accounting module is organised into three tabs: Overview, Disclosures, and Emissions Breakdown. If company is reporting under PCAF, this module will also be under Carbon Accounting Module

The Overview section summarizes your data collection status, of the results and of any conflicts on your data (If you want to know more about data conflicts, please read this article.
If you complete your carbon accounting for several years, you will also be able to see the time series comparison.

"Disclosures" is the key tab during the data collection phase. Here you will see the data points which need to be completed to finalise the carbon footprint

Finally, once you have completed the data collection, you will be able to see the results in the “Emissions Breakdown” tab.
