How can I export data from my account?
To get started, please navigate to the ”All metrics” page in your platform account. Next, click the ”Export” button in the top right corner.
Once you do that, a dialog window will pop up, giving you several dropdown options so you can choose exactly what you want to export.
Here’s how you can customize your export:
-
“Content” gives you the choice between:
- “All metrics” - which let’s you export all metric results, including aggregated data.
- … and “Raw network data” — which lets you export raw data collected from your network, such as portfolio companies or suppliers.
-
“Group” lets you choose between:
- “Local data of your organization”
- …and “Data collected under your network groups”. This is especially useful if you’re a General Partner or asset manager and want to export data for each of your funds.
-
Finally, you are also required to choose the “Standard”:
- You can either choose “All” — meaning that that you export every metric that is active in your account, using the default ESG language.
- Or you select a specific ESG standard, meaning that you filter and export data according to the specific ESG standard that’s active in your account.
Another way to do this is to choose a specific standard in the left-side navigation panel. I’m chossing KfW for the sake of this example. Then, within that window, you can also directly export data both on GP and Fund-level according to that specific standard. that’s another way to do this.
The selection of available ESG standards depends on your account setup—for example, Invest Europe or KfW. If you’re not sure which standards apply to you, or you’d like to activate more standards, just reach out to our support team.
Once you’ve made your selection, just click the ”Export” button. The Excel file will then be downloaded directly to your device.
If your account has the Network functionality enabled and you’re requesting data from other companies, you can also export raw network data from the ”Network - Receive Data” page.
In this view, the export dialog allows you to choose the relevant group and export raw network data accordingly.
