General platform introduction (homepage and navigation panel)
When you log in, you’ll land on the Home Page — also referred to as your “dashboard”.
At the top, you’ll see your "reporting summary" for the selected reporting year, which includes your completion rate.
This shows your progress as you enter data in the "Tasks" or "All metrics" sections.
You’ll also notice the ”Microsite” option on the Home Page.
This is an optional paid feature that lets you publish selected data points on a public-facing website — ideal if you want to share specific ESG information externally.
If you’re part of a network — for example, requesting data from portfolio companies, managing multiple portfolio companies, or reporting to investors — you’ll see a ”Network Progress” section on the dashboard.
Depending on whether you are the party needing to send or receive data… you will see either "Data to receive" or "Data to send" — or both.
It also highlights any upcoming deadlines which you can adjust if you’re the one requesting data.
At the bottom of the Home Page, you’ll find an overview of tasks.
Here, you can track task ownership, see what’s assigned to you or your team and monitor the review process for submitted tasks.
Let’s take a closer look at the sidebar menu on the left.
Please note that your sidebar may look different depending on the modules activated for your account.
From here, you can:
- Access all activated platform modules…
- Navigate to your tasks and metrics…
- Send or request data in the “network” tab…
If a feature appears to be missing… or if you’re interested in enabling an additional feature… feel free to contact our support team.
Using the Top bar, you can also:
- Easily switch between accounts by clicking your name or company at the top of the screen if you’re active in multiple organizations…
- Change the reporting year you want to view…
- Invite new users
- Manage user roles and permissions, as well as business units in the "Settings" section
- Access our Help Center, where you can:
- Find answers to common questions
- Reach out to support if you encounter any issues
You’ll also find a question mark icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
Click it to open the Atlas Metrics AI Assistant where you can ask ESG-related questions.
For example, you could ask the assistant to explain scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in one sentence each…
From there, you can also access a guided platform tour… or jump directly to the Help Center.
